Description:

An urgent opportunity is available for an experienced Senior Planning Engineer to join a leading construction team based in Dubai Islands, UAE. The role is ideal for a planning professional with extensive UAE experience and a strong background working with a Main Contracting Company on large-scale projects.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in project planning, scheduling, reporting, and performance monitoring. This position requires expertise in project controls, schedule management, resource planning, and executive-level reporting while ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, manage, and control internal and external project reporting using Primavera P6, ERP systems, and other planning tools.

• Create and manage complex baseline schedules, critical paths, and resource histograms aligned with full EPC project scopes.

• Lead and mentor planning teams to ensure project milestones and deliverables are achieved according to schedule.

• Identify project delays at an early stage, conduct earned value analysis (EVA), and implement corrective measures.

• Manage executive dashboards, KPIs, project performance reports, and cash flow forecasts.

• Support Extension of Time (EOT) submissions and claims preparation activities.

• Prepare high-level presentations, reports, and dashboards for senior management, including Project Managers and department leadership.

Requirements:

• Minimum 8 years of UAE experience in planning and project controls.

• Mandatory experience working with a Main Contracting Company.

• Strong expertise in Primavera P6 and project scheduling methodologies.

• Experience with EPC projects, project reporting, and resource planning.

• Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.

• Immediate joiners will be given preference.
