Description:
Turathel is seeking a qualified and experienced Lifting Supervisor to join its team for high-rise building construction projects in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in lifting operations, site coordination, and safety compliance within major construction environments.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising lifting activities, ensuring compliance with approved lifting plans, and maintaining the highest safety standards on site. Strong leadership skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to coordinate with multiple project teams are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and coordinate all lifting operations at construction sites.
• Ensure all lifting activities comply with approved lifting plans, method statements, and HSE procedures.
• Conduct pre-lift inspections, risk assessments, and toolbox talks.
• Coordinate effectively with crane operators, riggers, engineers, and site management teams.
• Monitor lifting operations to ensure safe, efficient, and timely execution.
• Ensure compliance with UAE safety regulations and project requirements.
• Maintain proper documentation related to lifting activities and safety procedures.
Requirements:
• Minimum 5–10 years of experience as a Lifting Supervisor in UAE construction companies.
• Proven experience working on high-rise building construction projects.
• LEEA certification is mandatory.
• Valid Lifting Supervisor certification, where applicable.
• Strong understanding of lifting operations, rigging practices, cranes, and lifting plans.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
• Ability to ensure safe execution of all lifting activities in compliance with HSE standards.
• Strong knowledge of:
