Description:

TEKsystems is seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to support its Procurement and Supply Chain Management team. This remote contract position is focused on accurately entering and validating shipment and invoice data received through EDI systems, maintaining operational records, and supporting procurement and logistics-related administration.

The ideal candidate will have strong data entry skills along with exposure to logistics, procurement, supply chain, import operations, or transportation documentation. The role requires excellent attention to detail, accuracy in handling large amounts of data, and the ability to work with Excel, ERP systems, and internal communication platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enter shipment details and invoice information into Excel and ERP systems.

• Review and process logistics documentation accurately.

• Maintain daily tracking logs and operational records.

• Verify data accuracy and identify discrepancies.

• Update internal systems with procurement and shipment-related information.

• Communicate with internal stakeholders through Microsoft Teams and email.

• Support import operations involving Asian suppliers and U.S. distribution channels.

• Assist with procurement and logistics data administration tasks.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in data entry with strong attention to detail.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and spreadsheet management.

• Ability to work with ERP systems and learn new platforms quickly.

• Experience with logistics, procurement, supply chain, or import documentation is preferred.

• Strong accuracy, organizational, and time management skills.

• Ability to manage repetitive data entry tasks while maintaining quality standards.

Strong knowledge of:

• Microsoft Excel functions including VLOOKUP and SUMIF.

• Spreadsheet maintenance and data validation.

• ERP systems, shipment documentation, and invoice processing.
