Description:

Crowne Plaza Hotel Abu Dhabi is currently recruiting an Oriental Chef – Arabic Speaking.

The ideal candidate must be in UAE.

YOUR DAY TO DAY

• Prepare all kinds of food inclusive and with the main focus on Oriental cuisine for all banquet events and restaurants.
• Ensure the highest standards and consistent quality in the daily preparation and keep up to date with the new Oriental recipes and preparation techniques
• Coordinate and participate with other sections of requirements, cleanliness, wastage and cost control

Requirements:

• In order to be considered for this role you should hold a recognised hotel diploma and at least 1 year experience working in the same position within a 5* hotel
• Detailed knowledge of food technical skills is essential for this role as well as a proven track record in launching new concepts and promotions, training and developing staff.
• It is also essential that you have a good command of the English language (verbal and written) and knowledge.
• Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and occupational health and safety standards will be essential.
• Advance computer skills & MS Office and Recipe Maintenance system is essential.
