Description:
We are currently seeking for passionate and dynamic Junior Planning Engineer -MEP/ Civil to strengthen our growing team.
- Applicants must meet the following qualifications to be shortlisted:
- Available in UAE and can join immediately.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience
- Required for MEP Contracting Company in Abu Dhabi
- Must have UAE Experience
- With Equivalence and ADQCC Certificate (Electrical Engineer) is advantage
Responsibilities But Not Limited To The Following:
- Development of baseline EPC schedules followed by look ahead / Accelerated / Recovery Schedules (up to required levels) using P6.
- Develop contract key dates, milestones and company plan dates that align with the overall project schedule.
- Liaise and coordinate with discipline engineers, contractors, licensors, advisor & PMC for an overall integrated execution schedule.
- Develop the activities, logic, resources and progress for the assigned project sub-elements, leading to the creation of the baseline schedule and its subsequent maintenance.
- Develop, implement and comply with the planning and progress monitoring procedures.
- Liaise with Engineering personnel to ensure proper understanding of the key schedule sensitivities and drivers
- Conduct the schedule weekly/monthly progress update, forecast, critical path and trend analyses for assigned elements, including any impact from interface areas.
- Assess and incorporate the impact of approved changes and any deviations from the key project targets and milestones, including productivity monitoring and identification of alternate approaches to optimize the plans.
- Raises alert on potential delays in advance, keep record of delay events and changes early stage in the project lifecycle in order to prepare impact analysis for EOT claims
- Attend projects kick off, progress meeting, Review of MOM and comment on it
- Develop contract sections for planning and progress reporting. Review and verify contractors reported progress and ensure that this is reflected in the project schedule.
- Track the criticality of the main paths to completion and float consumption. Implement and utilize the standard tools and processes.
- Coordinates with PM, Engineering, Procurement, Construction managers. Collects inputs of design and monitor pre-and post-contract schedule
- Participate in preparing technical submittal for pre-tenders.
