Description:
A growing e-commerce company in Dubai is seeking an experienced Accountant / Finance Executive to oversee daily accounting operations and support the organization’s financial performance. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring smooth financial processes.
This position is ideal for professionals with strong accounting expertise, excellent analytical abilities, and hands-on experience in financial reporting, reconciliations, and end-to-end accounting functions. Previous experience in the e-commerce industry will be considered an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day accounting activities and financial transactions.
• Prepare accurate financial reports and perform account reconciliations.
• Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and month-end closing activities.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure financial data integrity.
• Support financial operations while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
• Assist in improving financial processes to support business growth.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Strong experience in general accounting, financial reporting, and account reconciliations.
• Good knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and month-end closing.
• Experience managing financial transactions and maintaining accurate accounting records.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, and reporting processes.
• E-commerce industry experience is preferred.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
