Description:
7Seventy Recruiting is seeking an experienced Payroll Support Specialist to provide payroll processing and client support services for a dedicated portfolio of customers. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with payroll systems, troubleshooting payroll issues, and managing multiple payroll cycles while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
The successful candidate will support payroll operations, assist employers and employees with payroll-related inquiries, manage client submissions, and provide technical guidance related to payroll processing procedures. Candidates with experience in construction payroll, certified payroll, prevailing wage, PEO, or ASO environments are highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage client payroll portfolios and ensure accurate, timely payroll processing.
• Support multiple payroll cycles while maintaining accuracy and responsiveness.
• Communicate with clients through phone and web channels to resolve payroll issues.
• Troubleshoot payroll challenges and provide technical support.
• Manage client payroll submissions and integrations within payroll software platforms.
• Serve as the primary contact for employer and employee payroll-related questions.
• Provide guidance on payroll processing procedures and best practices.
Requirements:
• 3+ years of experience in payroll processing or payroll support.
• Hands-on experience with SaaS payroll software such as ADP, Paycor, Paylocity, or similar platforms.
• Strong ability to troubleshoot payroll issues and provide technical support.
• Ability to manage multiple client payroll cycles simultaneously.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to assist employers and employees professionally.
• Experience in construction payroll is preferred.
• Knowledge of certified payroll or prevailing wage requirements is an advantage.
• PEO or ASO experience is preferred.
