Description:

Shafar Contracting is expanding its workforce and is seeking experienced Senior Safety Officers to support ongoing high-rise building construction projects in Dubai. This opportunity is ideal for qualified HSE professionals who have hands-on experience working on major construction sites within the UAE.

The selected candidates will be responsible for maintaining a safe working environment by implementing HSE standards, monitoring site activities, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with UAE construction safety regulations. Only candidates currently residing in the UAE will be considered for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with HSE standards.

• Perform risk assessments and implement effective safety control measures.

• Lead toolbox talks and promote workplace safety awareness.

• Investigate incidents and prepare detailed safety reports.

• Conduct safety audits and monitor high-risk construction activities.

• Coordinate with project teams to ensure compliance with UAE/Dubai HSE regulations.

• Maintain safety documentation and support continuous safety improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• Proven experience on high-rise building construction projects.

• Strong knowledge of UAE/Dubai HSE regulations and construction safety requirements.

• Experience conducting site inspections, risk assessments, toolbox talks, incident investigations, and safety audits.

• Ability to monitor high-risk activities and implement appropriate safety controls.

• Excellent communication, coordination, reporting, and leadership skills.

• Experience with Dubai Main Contractors is preferred.

• Applicants must currently be residing in the UAE.

• Strong knowledge of:

    • UAE/Dubai HSE regulations.

    • Construction safety management and risk assessment.

    • Incident investigation, safety audits, and compliance procedures.
