Description:
Al Khalidiya Group, a well-established UAE organization with a strong presence across multiple industries including aluminium, glass, waterproofing, joinery, and care services, is currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join its Waterproofing Division in Abu Dhabi.
This role is ideal for professionals who have hands-on experience in cost management and quantity surveying within waterproofing or construction projects and are ready to contribute to a growing and dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for waterproofing projects
• Review and interpret drawings, specifications, and contract documents to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Evaluate subcontractor quotations, compare pricing, and negotiate favorable terms
• Monitor and control project costs, ensuring alignment with approved budgets
• Prepare interim valuations, variation orders, and final account statements
• Track project progress and provide regular updates on cost performance
• Support contract administration processes and maintain proper documentation
• Coordinate effectively with site teams, procurement, and project management
• Ensure all activities comply with company policies and project requirements
Requirements:
• 3–5 years of relevant UAE experience in waterproofing, construction, or a similar field
• Strong understanding of waterproofing systems, materials, and cost structures
• Proficiency in quantity take-off methods and cost estimation practices
• Good knowledge of contracts, variations, and claims management
• Strong analytical thinking and negotiation skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel and industry-related quantity surveying software
• Candidates available for immediate joining will be given preference
