Description:
Thyme Care is seeking a dedicated Practice Coordinator to support healthcare providers by delivering seamless remote administrative and patient care coordination. This role plays an important part in improving telehealth operations, enhancing patient experiences, and supporting virtual oncology care services.
The ideal candidate should be organized, compassionate, and comfortable working in a fast-paced remote healthcare environment. The successful candidate will assist with patient scheduling, telehealth support, documentation, and administrative processes while maintaining a strong commitment to patient privacy and quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm virtual patient appointments.
• Manage provider calendars and resolve scheduling conflicts.
• Support telehealth visits by assisting patients and providers with virtual check-ins and technical setup.
• Collect member consents for virtual appointments.
• Verify insurance benefits and process copays or deductibles.
• Prepare and send clinical notes, referrals, and consent documents to providers.
• Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) and patient information.
• Assist healthcare providers with documentation, forms, and prescription requests.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance during virtual interactions and data handling.
• Provide inbound support through phone calls, text messages, faxes, and emails.
Requirements:
• Prior experience in administrative, virtual assistant, or telehealth support roles preferred.
• Oncology healthcare experience is an advantage.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• AM availability and bilingual skills preferred.
• Patient-focused approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
• Ability to learn and use new healthcare technologies and digital platforms.
Strong knowledge of:
• Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms.
• Patient coordination and healthcare administration.
• Basic technical troubleshooting and digital communication tools.
