Description:
La Verne Diamond is looking for a dedicated Junior Accountant to join its finance team. This opportunity is ideal for accounting professionals who have hands-on experience within the Gold & Diamond Jewellery industry and are familiar with industry-specific accounting practices.
The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting daily accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, managing inventory-related transactions, and ensuring compliance with UAE accounting and VAT requirements. Candidates currently available in the UAE are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
• Handle daily accounting transactions and maintain financial records.
• Process purchase, sales, payment, receipt, and ledger entries.
• Monitor jewellery inventory and perform stock reconciliations.
• Support gold and diamond accounting activities.
• Maintain accurate accounting documentation and reports.
• Assist with VAT-related accounting tasks and compliance.
• Ensure accuracy in financial records and transaction processing.
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience in the Gold & Diamond Jewellery industry.
• Knowledge of jewellery inventory management and stock reconciliation.
• Experience with purchase, sales, payments, receipts, and ledger entries.
• Understanding of gold and diamond accounting practices.
• Candidates currently available in the UAE are preferred.
• Proficiency in Hindi and English.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong knowledge of:
• MS Excel.
• Accounting software and ERP systems.
• UAE VAT regulations and basic accounting procedures.
