Role Overview:
The Data Annotator (Generalist) will be responsible for reviewing, evaluating, and annotating AI-generated outputs while ensuring strict adherence to quality standards and guidelines. The role requires consistency, precision, and the ability to identify subtle issues in AI responses that may impact model performance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review, evaluate, and annotate AI-generated outputs with high attention to detail
• Follow complex annotation guidelines accurately and apply them consistently
• Identify subtle errors, inconsistencies, and edge cases in AI responses
• Provide structured, clear feedback to improve AI training data quality
• Maintain accuracy and performance across large-scale, repetitive workflows
• Flag unclear instructions or ambiguous cases for clarification
• Ensure adherence to strict evaluation standards and quality benchmarks
Requirements:
• Extremely detail-oriented mindset with a strong focus on accuracy and quality
• Prior experience in data annotation, AI training pipelines, or review-based roles (preferred)
• Ability to follow complex, multi-step instructions without deviation
• Strong written communication and analytical reasoning skills
• High reliability and consistency in performance
• Ability to work independently with sustained focus on repetitive tasks
• Familiarity with QA, trust & safety, or structured evaluation workflows is a plus
Compensation & Benefits:
• $50 per hour (Contract-based)
• Paid weekly via Stripe Connect
• Fully remote role within the United States
