Description:

On Plan Real Estate is seeking a qualified and experienced Accountant to join its finance team in Dubai. This opportunity is ideal for finance professionals with strong technical accounting knowledge, experience in financial reporting, and a solid understanding of UAE VAT regulations within a fast-paced business environment.

The successful candidate will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, support financial reporting, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with internal departments and external auditors. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the company’s financial performance while working in a professional and growth-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records and accounting documentation.

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.

• Prepare vendor payments, invoices, and account reconciliations.

• Perform bank, supplier, and general ledger reconciliations.

• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.

• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and other accounting adjustments.

• Support financial and management reporting.

• Ensure compliance with IFRS, UAE VAT regulations, and company policies.

• Coordinate with external auditors and provide required financial documentation.

• Monitor cash flow and assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.

• Maintain vendor master data and support procurement-related accounting processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.

• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience.

• Proven experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and IFRS.

• Experience working in a B2B environment, preferably within a multinational organization.

• Proficiency in SAP or other ERP systems.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.

• Must be available to attend a face-to-face interview in Dubai.

Strong knowledge of:

• IFRS and UAE VAT regulations

• Accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting

• SAP or ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel
