Description:
We are looking for a Head of Communications and Marketing to join our team based in Jebel Ali, Dubai.
The role of the Head of Communications and Marketing is two-fold; to grow the business through marketing of Evolution’s services, and, secondly, to lead the pitching, planning and implementation of client campaigns.
You will be responsible for managing and optimizing the company’s own communication channels including the website, social channels and collaterals; as well as looking for opportunities for promotion in trade and business press or through other third party platforms.
For client work, you will work closely with the production team to produce joint pitches that require an integrated event and marketing response. You will be responsible for engaging freelancers, agencies and other providers to deliver on implementation of campaigns.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in event marketing, with a proven track record of success
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with media buying and planning
- Knowledge of how to implement, run and optimise social paid, SEM and Google Adsense campaigns
- Ability to write and pitch press releases
- Understanding of local media landscape, and the way that government entities engage with and pitch to local media organizations
- Knowledge of marketing automation and analysis tools (e.g. Hootsuite
- MaliChimp, Google Analytics) and familiarity with working with Content
- Management Systems.
