Description:

We are looking for an experienced Head Barista who has knowledge of mixing coffee beans, roasting, and creating new coffee drinks. The ideal candidate should have a passion for coffee and a deep understanding of the coffee industry. The Senior / Head Barista will be responsible for creating high quality coffee drinks, educating customers on different coffee blends, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mix coffee beans and create custom blends
• Roast coffee beans to the appropriate levels for different blends
• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee drinks, including espresso, lattes, cappuccinos, and other specialty drinks
• Educate customers on different coffee blends and brewing methods
• Keep the coffee shop clean and organized, including the preparation area and customer seating
• Manage inventory of coffee beans and other supplies
• Work with the General Manager to create new coffee drinks and promote seasonal specials
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction

Required Skills:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Barista, with knowledge of coffee bean mixing and roasting
• Excellent knowledge of coffee blends, brewing methods, and coffee equipment
• Ability to create custom blends and new coffee drinks
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks at once
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of cleanliness and organization
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
