Warehouse Supervisor required

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead a team of warehouse staff, ensuring efficient and smooth daily operations.
• Oversee the receipt, storage, retrieval, and dispatch of goods, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels, conducting regular stock checks and coordinating with procurement to ensure optimal stock availability.
• Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maximize productivity, minimize errors, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Train and mentor warehouse personnel, providing guidance on best practices, equipment operation, and safety protocols.
• Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate warehouse performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as logistics and customer service, to ensure smooth coordination of operations and timely order fulfillment.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy and proper documentation.
• Resolve any issues or discrepancies promptly and efficiently, escalating to management as necessary.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to cleanliness and safety standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or similar role, preferably in the logistics or freight forwarding industry.
• In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and distribution processes.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop employees.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and other relevant software applications.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical stamina to perform tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving heavy items.
• A valid driver’s license and forklift operating experience are a plus.
