Reporting to the Director of Global Trade Compliance, the Trade Compliance Analyst will maintain trade compliance data and performs a wide variety of research and analysis including but not limited to; US Customs HS code determination, ECCN determination, Country of Origin determination, Landed Cost analysis. This role will be a key point of contact for Global Trade Tool (ONESOURCE), ensuring consistency and the highestlevels of accuracy. You will perform daily transactional functions by coordinating and interacting with Customs Brokers and Freight Forwarders to resolve shipping issues. This is a role with a high impact and the ability to learn and grow within Hach.
This is a fully remote position. Several locations have been listed for marketing purposes but only one position is available.
In this role, a typical day will look like:
- Support day-to-day operational activities, including complying with trade compliance data requests
- Providing Customs clearance facilitation, and tracking of and problem-solving shipments stuck in transit
- Assist with adherence of import standard work processes
- Maintain data and ensure proper import record keeping in compliance with company and governmental rules and regulations
- Working closely with cross-functional teams including procurement, transportation, IT, sales, and supply chain, to ensure a steady flow of critical supply to the manufacturing sites
- Contribute to Operations and Trade Compliance KPIs
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in trade compliance environment, preferably with a multinational enterprise
- Highschool Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience working with or as a Customs Broker, auditing entries, requesting post-entry adjustments, and running ACE reports
- HTS classification experience and expertise required
- Exceptional problem-solving and computer skills, proactive approach; strong communicator (written and verbal), detailed and organized

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
The compensation range for this role is $60,000.00 – $75,000.00 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
