Hiring Technical Manager (Offshore)

Location: Dubai

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Manager to oversee the fleet of Anchor Handling Tugs. This pivotal role is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of operational performance, safety, and compliance across the fleet, while also acting as a vital link between the customers and vessels. The

Vessel Technical Manager will lead, motivate, and coach both the fleet team, vessel managers and vessel crew to achieve excellence in customer satisfaction and vessel operation.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive ship owned services, maintaining high standards in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure operational performance meets or exceeds customer expectations.
  • Serve as the primary contact between customers, Ship managers and our vessels, ensuring customers fully benefit from the
  • Operational capabilities of their ships.
  • Ensure all vessels pass third-party inspections (including OVID,
  • OCDIMF, PSC etc.) With minimal observations.
  • Approve annual Vessel Operating Budgets, ensuring they align with ship management expectations and timelines.
  • Prepare detailed and accurate project/Repairs/Docking specification.
  • To liaise with insurance companies in case of any technical claims and further follow up.

Qualifications:

  • Holder of a Class one Chief Engineer Unlimited license.
  • minimum of 5 years of shore-based experience in a marine- related company, preferably as a Technical Superintendent
  • Extensive experience with Offshore Vessels, specifically PSV/DSV/AHTS, is essential.
  • Please note that the role is based in Dubai, UAE, but involves managing offshore
  • Staff located in Mumbai, India. The Technical Manager must be willing to travel as needed to support fleet operations and ensure
  • The highest standards of service and operational efficiency.
