Looking to hire a Storekeeper with catering background for our group of companies located in Abu Dhabi – Mussafah
Position Summary:
A member of the store team; working under the direction and supervision of a senior storekeeper. Assist senior storekeeper in day-to-day store operations and maintain proper records of receiving, issuing, and stocking inventory. Comply & ensure the adherence of store staff to regulatory agency regulations and company policy guidelines at all times.
Detailed Duties and Responsibility:
- Attend senior store keeper briefing on daily finding, improvement to ensure the highest level of performance;
- Assist senior store keeper in daily stores operational activities;
- Prepare daily DOC & LPO according to menu cycles and stock levels;
- Order all pre-approved food items through approved suppliers only;
- Liaise with senior store keeper on the ordering of non- approved food items;
- Ensure the compliance of all received food items with company policy of quality and specifications and agreed price;
- Check & deep inspect all delivered food items in coordination with hygiene department and report any non-compliance findings to senior store keeper;
- Ensure all food items are delivered according to its delivery schedules and as per senior store keeper planning;
- Assist senior store keeper to complete all documentations and take the necessary action in cases of non-delivery, substandard deliveries or over pricing;
- Store all food items according to proper food storing procedures, in terms of temperature, humidity and shelf life and all food items are stocked on pallets while maintaining a proper distance from walls;
- Ensure the de-boxing, segregation & pre-washing of all fresh vegetables & fruits prior storing in chillers;
- Exercise proper stock rotation according to first in, first out procedure (FIFO);
- Follow agreed procedure and report any spoilage or damage of any food item to senior store keeper;
- Prepare and maintain daily stock level & submit it to senior store keeper;
- Prepare daily costing and receiving reports, monthly inventory report and submit it to accounts department;
- Support and attend schedules training to all diners staff;
- Comply & ensure that all diners staff consistently adhere to uniform, grooming, appearance standards and duty punctuality;
- Ensure that high standards of sanitation, cleanliness and safety are maintained throughout all stores areas at all times;
- Conduct regular inspections of all dry stores, freezers, chillers and promptly act to correct deficiencies found during inspection;
- Follow company Policies guidelines and regulatory agency regulations at all times;
- Undertake other related duties, which may be requested by the management in accordance with the scope and responsibilities of the role;
