Description:

We are currently seeking a Senior Buyer to be based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Industry Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in the Fit-out industry, preferably Civil Engineering/Architecture in the UAE.
• Educational Qualification: University Degree in Business Administration or related subject.

Job Description:

• Pre-qualify competent suppliers in accordance with Procurement Policy to ensure all suppliers meet the required guidelines.
• Review and process Purchase Requests, obtain three quotations, and prepare Price Comparisons for internal or external client approval.
• Negotiate prices with vendors, suppliers, traders, and service providers to secure the most cost-effective deals while maintaining standards, quality, and ensuring timely delivery of products and services.
• Review terms and conditions, payment, delivery period, warranty, after-sales service, insurance, and any other applicable terms mentioned in quotations to ensure they meet company/client requirements.
• Plan, organize, implement, and facilitate schedules and programs related to delivery in coordination with site Property Managers.
• Continuously source equivalent products and services that are less expensive but conform to standards and are acceptable to clients.
• Review vendor performance and provide feedback to the Assistant Purchase Manager.
