Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements and reports.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and standards.
- Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Train and mentor junior accounting staff.
- Identify and implement process improvements.
- Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
- Stay updated with accounting regulations and best practices to ensure compliance.
Requirements:
- Proven experience working as Senior accountant or in a similar role (Minimum 2 Years UAE Experience).
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in using accounting software (preferably Oracle) and MS Excel.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
