Hiring Senior Accountant – Travel Agency

Location: Dubai, UAE

Company Overview: Adrenaline Travel is a leading travel agency based in Dubai, specializing in Outbound and group travel. We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Accountant to join our team and help us achieve our business goals.

Job Description:

As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the financial and accounting functions of Adrenaline Travel. You will work closely with the management team to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information, compliance with accounting standards, and the timely reporting of financial results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, bank reconciliations, and payroll.
• Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures.
• Coordinate and assist with audits, tax filings, and other financial reporting requirements.
• Use accounting software and advanced Excel skills to track financial data and generate reports.
• Manage the HR matters of the company, including but not limited to recruitment, payroll, and employee benefits.
• Handle IATA transactions and reconcile IATA statements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• At least 5 years of experience in a senior accounting role, preferably in the travel industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations, including IFRS.
• Proficient in the use of accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
• Knowledge of IATA handling and reconciliation.
• Ability to manage HR matters of the company.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
