Hiring Purchase Officer
As a Purchasing Officer, you will be responsible for all purchasing functions, quotations, quality and availability, physical control of all store items until issued, fully documented under strict control procedures (key control, timing schedule, authorized issue requests). Maintaining logical storeroom inventory levels operationally needed. Ensures that the suppliers follow the rules relating to the hygiene of goods delivered.
Responsibilities:
- To centralize purchase requests from internal customers and process related LPOs.
- To maintain permanent communication with buyers and Financial Controller and in /stores team in the hotels/suppliers in order to follow-up ETD & delivery status,
- To report anomalies unconformities upon delivery: products quality, delay, items shortages
- To report anomalies blocking purchasing/supply process & follow-up validated action plan.
- To inform about purchase requests status.
- To maintain permanent communication with suppliers in order to follow-up processed LPOs.
- To report to Procurement Manager Irregularities to procurement policy.
- To coordinate with purchasing chain actors to ensure smooth operation & business continuity
