Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Production Supervisor to oversee our seafood processing operations.
Main Duties/Responsibilities:
- Achieve manufacturing staff results by planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
- Maintain workflow by monitoring steps of the process and observing control points and equipment.
- Complete production plans by scheduling and assigning personnel, monitoring progress, and resolving problems.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment and ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Report plant or machinery breakdowns to maintenance technicians promptly.
- Organize external contracts, such as cleaning or supplies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in any field with relevant work experience.Minimum of 3 years in seafood processing, focusing on salmon production.
- Proven leadership and supervisory skills.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in computer skills and a strong understanding of food safety regulations and quality control standards in the seafood industry.
- Fluent in English.
