Job Description

• Opening and closing the pool each day according to scheduled hours
• Regularly treat the pool with the correct amount of chemicals and take the chemical readings
• Closely monitoring activities related to the pool area, identifying any safety issues throughout the day
• Maintaining a clean pool environment
• Administers first aid in the event of injury rescues swimmers in distress or danger of drowning, and administers CPR and/or artificial respiration, if necessary
• Assist FM team with daily school operations
• If required complete appropriate safety training and certifications
• Work Independently or with minimum supervision
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Department Head

Physical tasks:

• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 kg without assistance
• Assist with moving, lifting, carrying, and placing objects weighing in excess of 50 kg
• Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines to identify defects and keep the area clean.
• Move up/down stairs and service ramps, carrying ladder.
• Assemble/Dismantle scaffolding with other team members
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, and pulling

Qualifications

• Certified Lifeguard Training (UAE), First Aid & CPR 
• At least 2 years of related work experience in UAE schools
• Preferred experience with swimming pool systems
• Able to write and speak in English
• Technical and problem-solving skills
• Candidates must be present in UAE while applying (on tourist/visit/resident visa)
