Description:

Hiring Planning Engineer

With minimum of 5-8 years’ experience in main contracting company.

 Duties & Responsibilities:

• Should have experience in working on mid or high-rise tower project in UAE.
• Prepare the Baseline Programme based on the requirements of the contract.
• Prepare the method statement to accompany the Baseline Programme.
• Prepare various schedules based on the Baseline Programme, such as: Submittals & Approvals Schedule, Materials order placing schedule, Subcontractors Appointment Schedule, Resources histograms, csh flow curve, progress curve, major plant schedule
• To maintain and record on a regular basis site progress and update the Baseline Programme accordingly.
• To prepare 15/30 day ‘look ahead’ programmes.
• To ensure the timely appointment of subcontractors and materials suppliers in accordance with the control schedules.
• To maintain ‘as built’ records of planned vs. actual site progress.
• Contribute to EoT claim preparations – with delay analysis and supplementary documents preparations, under the guidance of the Planning ·Manager/Sr. Planning Engineer.
• Earned Value Tracking through cost loaded programme.
• The preparation and agreement together with the implementation on an ongoing basis, effective time management systems for all operations of the contract.
• To ensure compliance with the agreed programme and coordination schedules by all parties, particularly where such schedules are concerned with the flow of submittals/approvals and information requirements.
• Subcontractor follow ups and participation in meetings with subcontractors.
• To coordinate and integrate subcontractors programmes within the Baseline Programme and insure compliance with the programme requirements.
• Prepare progress reports
• Take/ arrange Site photographs as site progress records.
• Advise the project manager of progress slippage to activities for corrective action.
• Co-ordinations and follow ups with other departments, as delegated by the planning manager/Sr. Planning Engineer
• Prepare Productivity reports

Requirements::

• Must be available in the UAE
• Familiar with construction management and its procedures
• Proficiency in project management software, such as Primavera, Microsoft Project, or equivalent.
