Hiring Phlebotomist

Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and certified Phlebotomist to join our dynamic healthcare team in Abu Dhabi The ideal candidate will have a strong background in phlebotomy and possess the necessary UAE qualifications to perform their duties effectively and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform venipunctures and skin punctures to obtain blood samples for laboratory testing.
• Label and process samples accurately to ensure proper identification and integrity.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and provide exceptional patient care during the phlebotomy process.
• Prepare and maintain phlebotomy equipment, ensuring cleanliness and functionality.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Collaborate with medical and laboratory staff to ensure timely and accurate test results.
• Handle patient inquiries and provide information regarding the phlebotomy process.
• Keep detailed records of all specimens collected and procedures performed.
• Participate in continuous education and training to stay updated with the latest phlebotomy techniques and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Nursing/Certification as a Phlebotomist from a recognized institution.
• Valid DHA/HAAD/MOH license to practice in the UAE.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Phlebotomist.
• Proficiency in venipuncture and other phlebotomy techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
