Hiring Network and Security Specialist

Job Location: Abu Dhabi

Looking for Immediately available candidates

5- 7 years of relevant work experience as a network administrator/engineer.

Experience of the following:

• Checkpoint products and Cisco security products such as ASA firewalls and others
• Cisco switches, routers
• Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Jabber Webex
• Cisco video conferencing systems – codec on premise
• Microsoft security suits -office 365
• Understanding of ISO27001 and NESA standard

Skills:

• Good knowledge of Cisco VoIP, audio and video technologies
• In-depth understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP) and routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF)
• Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis
• Experience with webex, email security gateway, web proxy
• Solid understanding of network operating systems (Cisco IOS and NX-OS)
• Hands-on experience in checkpoint ( FIREWALL AND ENDPOINT PROTECTION), load balancing , application firewall – AVI, and Cisco ASA firewalls
• Good exposure to cloud computing
• Have worked in a cloud environment
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Excellent communication and presentation skills

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement new solutions and improve the resilience of the current environment
• Maximize network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems, and outages
• Schedule upgrades and collaborate on network optimization
• Undertake data network fault investigations in local and wide-area environments
• Secure network systems by establishing and enforcing policies and defining and monitoring access
• Support and administer firewall environments in line with IT security policy
• Upgrade data network equipment to the latest stable firmware releases
• Configure routing and switching equipment, hosted IP voice services and firewalls
• Undertake capacity management and audit of IP addressing and hosted devices within data centers
• Replacing faulty network hardware components when required
• Configure firewalls, routers, switches, and WAN accelerators to maximize network efficiency and security
