Position Overview:
Our client, a startup trading company based abroad, is looking for a meticulous Junior Accountant to join their team as they launch their business in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of UAE financial regulations and experience in supporting business setup operations. Candidates must be ready to start immediately.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing financial statements and reports.
- Maintain accurate financial records and manage day-to-day transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in financial documentation.
- Process accounts payable and receivable.
- Support audits, budgeting, and financial analysis.
- Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations and reporting requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of UAE experience in an accounting role, preferably with exposure to business setup processes.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
