Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced HSE Engineer to join our team in the oil and gas sector. The ideal candidate will have at least good experience in health, safety, and environmental management, specifically within oil and gas projects. The HSE Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with HSE regulations, enhancing safety performance, and fostering a culture of safety across all site operations.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Ensure that all operations comply with local, national, and international HSE regulations.
  • Develop and implement HSE policies, procedures, and standards.

Risk Assessment and Management:

  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and implement risk management strategies.
  • Identify potential hazards and recommend appropriate control measures.

Safety Performance Monitoring:

  • Monitor safety performance metrics and analyze trends to identify areas for improvement.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure adherence to HSE standards.

Incident Investigation and Reporting:

  • Lead investigations of incidents, accidents, and near misses, ensuring thorough root cause analysis.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations on findings and corrective actions.

Training and Development:

  • Design and deliver HSE training programs tailored to project needs and employee roles.
  • Promote continuous learning and development in HSE practices.

Emergency Preparedness:

  • Develop and maintain emergency response plans and procedures.
  • Conduct drills and training sessions to ensure readiness for potential emergencies.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Collaborate with project management and operational teams to integrate HSE practices into daily activities.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies, clients, and contractors on HSE matters.
