Svitla Systems, Inc. is seeking a Taxonomy Analyst with Spanish language expertise for a full-time position supporting one of the world’s largest and fastest-growing job sites. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in data classification, content analysis, and multilingual data operations who can help improve the quality and accuracy of job and resume data.
The selected candidate will support taxonomy operations by reviewing, labeling, validating, and organizing large datasets. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, professional communication abilities in English, and native-level Spanish fluency while working within US-based time zones.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support taxonomy operations by labeling and classifying job and resume data.
• Standardize job titles and map occupations to established taxonomy frameworks.
• Review and validate metadata to improve taxonomy quality and accuracy.
• Perform data labeling, annotation, validation, and cleanup activities.
• Support localization efforts and manage multilingual content.
• Review high-volume datasets to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality.
• Follow labeling guidelines and apply sound judgment when making classification decisions.
• Provide written feedback on data quality and communicate effectively through Slack and other collaboration tools.
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate effectively in English.
• Support workflows related to Spain, Mexico, and Spanish-language content in the United States.
Requirements:
• Understanding of taxonomy, metadata, or content classification.
• Experience in data labeling, annotation, and data validation.
• Experience reviewing high-volume datasets.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and pattern recognition abilities.
• Native-level fluency in Spanish.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to follow labeling guidelines accurately and consistently.
• Ability to understand localization and multilingual content.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Spanish, Mexican, and Spanish-speaking US markets (preferred).
• HR/job taxonomy (preferred).
• SQL or Excel/Google Sheets (preferred).
• LLMs/AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude (preferred).
