A leading organization in the construction and infrastructure sector is currently hiring an experienced Storekeeper to manage and oversee inventory operations across large-scale project sites such as roads, highways, and bridges. The role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong knowledge of construction materials and site-based store management practices.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, coordinating material flow on-site, and ensuring compliance with construction project requirements. This position demands hands-on experience in managing store operations in active construction environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day store operations at construction project sites
• Maintain accurate records of materials including cement, aggregates, steel, and bitumen
• Handle GRN (Goods Receipt Note), MIN (Material Issue Note), and stock registers
• Operate SAP ERP systems and Excel-based inventory tracking tools
• Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and site teams for material requirements
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with site procedures
• Monitor stock levels and support timely procurement processes
Requirements:
• 2–5 years of experience in construction or infrastructure projects
• Strong knowledge of construction materials and site operations
• Experience with SAP ERP and Excel-based inventory systems
• Ability to manage GRN, MIN, and inventory documentation accurately
• Prior experience working on large-scale project sites preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Safety-aware with understanding of construction site procedures
