Description:
VaporVM is seeking a skilled and proactive Network Engineer to join its IT team in the UAE. This role is ideal for professionals with hands-on experience in managing and maintaining enterprise network infrastructure while ensuring secure and uninterrupted connectivity across the organization.
The selected candidate will be responsible for configuring, monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing network systems. You will work closely with internal IT teams to maintain network performance, strengthen security, and provide technical support for network-related operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, routers, switches, and firewall devices.
• Monitor network performance, availability, and overall system health.
• Diagnose and resolve network connectivity and performance-related issues.
• Configure and maintain VLANs, VPNs, DHCP, DNS, and TCP/IP services.
• Perform routine network maintenance, upgrades, and configuration changes.
• Implement and monitor network security measures to protect infrastructure.
• Maintain accurate network documentation and configuration records.
• Coordinate with internal IT teams and external vendors to resolve technical issues.
• Provide technical support for network-related incidents and service requests.
• Ensure compliance with IT security standards and best practices.
Requirements:
• 2–3 years of professional experience in Network Engineering or Network Administration.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with routers, switches, and firewall management.
• Knowledge of network monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization tools.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
• CCNA certification or an equivalent networking certification will be an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of:
• TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, and routing protocols.
• Network monitoring, troubleshooting, and infrastructure management.
• Network security concepts, best practices, and access controls.
