Description:
Databricks, a global leader in data and AI, is seeking a Sr. Finance Manager to join our Product Finance team within the FP&A organization. This role will serve as a key finance partner to the R&D organization, supporting strategic planning, modeling, and analysis as Databricks continues to scale. You will report directly to the Sr. Director of Product Finance and partner with product, pricing, infrastructure, and finance leaders to optimize revenue, pricing, and gross margin of the SQL product portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with product, pricing, and infrastructure leaders to plan and improve key product KPIs
  • Partner with Product Management and Sales Finance to evaluate pricing impacts on full P&L
  • Improve product gross margins by analyzing costs, cloud provider relationships, pricing strategies, and operational processes
  • Build strong relationships with R&D, finance, and accounting teams to provide actionable insights
  • Enhance financial processes and implement system improvements to support hyper-growth

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Deep experience in FP&A within high-growth technology or SaaS companies
  • Strong financial modeling and quantitative analysis capabilities
  • Expertise in Excel and Google Sheets with advanced modeling techniques
  • Familiarity with analytics and reporting tools, GAAP accounting, and non-GAAP financial metrics
  • Experience with public cloud cost analysis, SQL, and systems such as Anaplan, Netsuite, Salesforce.com, Coupa, and Workday
  • Ability to distill complex data into actionable recommendations
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, hyper-growth environment
