We’re Hiring — Senior Accountant (Remote, United States)
Join BeyondTrust’s finance team and play a central role in delivering timely, accurate financial reporting while supporting accounting processes across international entities. This position is ideal for a hands-on accountant who enjoys complex accounting tasks, process improvement, and working across time zones in a fast-evolving SaaS environment.

What You’ll Do:

  • Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, monthly close tasks, and quarterly roll-forwards.
  • Compile monthly and quarterly reporting packages for international subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and IFRS where applicable.
  • Perform variance analysis (actual vs. forecast) and provide clear commentary on drivers and trends.
  • Support revenue accounting and demonstrate familiarity with ASC 606 revenue recognition principles.
  • Own end-to-end accounting for assigned general ledger accounts and document accounting processes to strengthen controls.
  • Respond to and coordinate audit requests from internal and external auditors.
  • Mentor and guide junior finance staff as needed.
  • Partner with internal teams to explain accounting policies and coordinate deliverables.
  • Operate effectively in a fully remote setting and across multiple time zones.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of professional accounting experience, preferably with exposure to the software or tech sector.
  • Strong attention to detail and experience handling large datasets.
  • Practical knowledge of revenue recognition (ASC 606) and month-end close procedures.
  • Proven ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and understand broader business context.
  • Familiarity with financial systems such as NetSuite, FloQast, Coupa, or similar platforms.
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude and strong communication skills.
