Description:

Al Ittihad National Private School – Shakhbout is seeking a qualified UAE National Social Counselor to join its Elementary Section. The role focuses on supporting students’ social, emotional, and overall wellbeing while contributing to a positive and supportive school environment.

The successful candidate will work closely with students, parents, teachers, and school leadership to provide effective counseling support and ensure compliance with ADEK and other relevant educational requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide social and emotional support to elementary students.

• Support students’ overall wellbeing and development.

• Work collaboratively with parents, teachers, and school leadership.

• Assist in creating a positive and supportive learning environment.

• Ensure counseling practices align with ADEK and regulatory requirements.

• Maintain effective communication with students and stakeholders.

Requirements:

• UAE National.

• Valid DCD License – Mandatory.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, or a related field.

• Relevant professional qualifications in line with ADEK requirements.

• Previous experience in a school or educational environment is preferred.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work effectively with students, parents, teachers, and school leadership.

• Good command of Arabic and English.

• Ability to meet ADEK and other relevant regulatory requirements.

Strong knowledge of:

• Student counseling and social support practices.

• School-based wellbeing programs.

• Educational regulations and student support procedures.
