Description:
Teal Media, a full-service creative and design agency with a focus on mission-driven work, is seeking a Senior UX/UI Designer to join our Creative team. This role involves leading design strategy and execution to craft meaningful digital experiences for clients tackling challenges in health, education, climate, and social justice.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead design deliverables including sitemaps, wireframes, high-fidelity comps, UI component libraries, and custom graphics
• Translate client briefs into intentional, user-centered design solutions
• Iterate designs incorporating feedback while maintaining attention to detail
• Collaborate with Art Directors, strategists, and developers to ensure alignment across discovery, design, and implementation
• Document design decisions and provide clear specifications for development
• Contribute to user research and discovery activities
• Present design concepts to clients confidently, facilitating workshops and reviews
• Mentor junior designers and provide constructive feedback
• Share innovative ideas and participate in team brainstorms to enhance creative processes
• Support business development with case studies and showcase design work
Ideal Candidate Skills:
• Strong online portfolio demonstrating UX/UI design work
• Experience in user research and usability testing
• Expert understanding of UX principles, accessibility standards, and design best practices
• Proficiency with Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of web design and development, including HTML/CSS, CMS platforms (WordPress, Drupal)
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and strict adherence to project deadlines
• Passion for social impact and mission-driven design
