This role sits within the Brand Partnerships team, focused on helping emerging and challenger brands grow through data-driven advertising strategies. The Senior Sales Associate will act as a trusted advisor to brand partners, driving revenue growth and helping clients maximize their presence across Instacart’s advertising ecosystem.

The position requires a consultative sales professional who understands retail media trends, can build strong client relationships, and deliver impactful business insights through storytelling and performance data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and grow a portfolio of emerging brand accounts, driving revenue through upsells, renewals, and new advertising adoption.

• Sell across Instacart’s full advertising ecosystem including sponsored ads, display, video, and off-platform solutions.

• Develop data-driven business reviews that connect campaign performance to brand growth outcomes.

• Educate clients on retail media trends and positioning Instacart as a key performance channel.

• Maintain a high-activity sales pipeline with consistent outreach, meetings, and quarterly business reviews.

• Collaborate with internal teams including Account Management, Product, and Marketing to enhance client success.

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of experience in digital media sales, CPG advertising, or media buying roles.

• Proven track record in quota-carrying sales environments.

• Strong ability to translate data into compelling client narratives and insights.

• Consultative selling approach with experience growing client accounts.

• Familiarity with retail media, e-commerce, or digital advertising ecosystems.

• Experience using Salesforce, Google Suite, and Excel/Sheets.

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a fast-paced sales environment.
