Description:
JTS is seeking an experienced Senior Safety Executive to oversee Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) operations across its chemical logistics and depot facilities in Dubai. This role is ideal for a safety professional with extensive experience in hazardous materials, ISO tank depots, or chemical logistics environments.
The successful candidate will lead compliance initiatives, implement international safety standards, coordinate regulatory approvals, and promote a strong safety culture while ensuring operational excellence and continuous improvement across all QHSE activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage QHSE operations across depot and chemical logistics facilities.
• Ensure compliance with UAE HSE regulations, SQAS requirements, and ISO management systems.
• Develop and maintain QHSE policies, procedures, SOPs, risk assessments, and integrated management system documentation.
• Coordinate ISO certification, surveillance, and recertification audits.
• Liaise with Dubai Civil Defense, Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, EHS, and other regulatory authorities.
• Manage chemical permits, DCD approvals, safety certifications, waste management, and environmental compliance.
• Conduct inspections, audits, incident investigations, risk assessments, emergency drills, PTW reviews, and safety training sessions.
• Organize Safety Committee meetings and coordinate third-party equipment certification.
• Monitor QHSE performance, environmental conditions, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• NEBOSH IGC/Diploma, IOSH, or an equivalent HSE qualification.
• ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 Lead/Internal Auditor certification.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant QHSE experience.
• Experience in ISO Tank Depots, Chemical Logistics, Tank Terminals, or hazardous chemical environments.
• Strong analytical, communication, reporting, and leadership abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• SQAS implementation or assessment experience is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of:

• SQAS, DG Regulations, and Hazardous Chemicals
• Emergency Response and Risk Management
