Description:
Socium is seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer for a long-term contract opportunity with a leading IT services organization in the UAE. This role is ideal for networking professionals with strong technical expertise in enterprise network infrastructure and a passion for delivering reliable, high-performance network solutions.
The selected candidate will work in a full onsite environment, supporting and maintaining enterprise networking systems while ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability. This is a 12-month contract based in Abu Dhabi or Dubai.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure.
• Configure and support routing, switching, and LAN/WAN environments.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
• Maintain secure and reliable network operations across enterprise environments.
• Collaborate with technical teams to implement network upgrades and improvements.
• Ensure network availability, stability, and compliance with organizational standards.
Requirements:
• 8+ years of relevant experience in Network Engineering.
• Strong expertise in Routing & Switching, LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, BGP, and OSPF.
• Experience with Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, or similar enterprise networking technologies.
• Relevant networking certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent.
• Ability to work full onsite, five days per week.
• Availability for a 12-month contract assignment.
Strong knowledge of:
• Enterprise routing and switching technologies.
• Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, and related networking platforms.
• TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, LAN/WAN architecture, and network troubleshooting.
