Description:
Alqaro Roads Contracting L.L.C. is seeking a highly experienced Senior Estimation Engineer to join its expanding team in Dubai. This opportunity is ideal for civil engineering professionals with a strong background in road contracting, infrastructure projects, and construction cost estimation within the UAE.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, tender documentation, and quantity take-offs while working closely with engineering, procurement, and project teams. Candidates with excellent analytical skills and extensive experience in road and infrastructure projects are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for road, infrastructure, civil, and building projects.
• Perform quantity take-offs and develop Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
• Prepare tender documents, pricing proposals, and cost analyses.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents for accurate estimations.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project teams throughout the tendering process.
• Maintain accurate estimation records and support project planning activities.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Estimation Engineer in the construction industry.
• UAE experience in road contracting is mandatory.
• Experience estimating road, infrastructure, civil, and building projects.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and estimating software.
• Candidates must currently be based in the UAE and able to commute to Dubai.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Quantity Take-Offs (QTO), BOQs, and Cost Estimation
• Tender Preparation and Contract Documentation
• Engineering Drawings, Specifications, and Estimating Software
