Description:
Dautom is seeking an experienced Senior Associate – Credit Risk Modelling & IFRS 9 to join its team in Dubai. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with strong expertise in credit risk modelling, regulatory reporting, and IFRS 9 implementation within the banking or financial services sector.
The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and validating credit risk models, supporting regulatory compliance, and delivering analytical insights for risk management. Candidates who can join immediately or within 30 days are highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support IFRS 9 implementation and Credit Risk Modelling initiatives.
• Perform credit risk model development, validation, and portfolio risk assessment.
• Prepare regulatory reporting and ensure compliance with banking regulations.
• Conduct Expected Credit Loss (ECL) calculations and scenario analysis.
• Perform stress testing and evaluate credit risk exposures.
• Collaborate with stakeholders on risk management and model governance projects.
• Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to improve risk frameworks.
Requirements:
• 5–8 years of experience in banking, risk advisory, consulting, or financial services.
• Hands-on experience with IFRS 9 implementation, Credit Risk Modelling, Model Validation, and Regulatory Reporting.
• Strong expertise in Expected Credit Loss (ECL), Significant Increase in Credit Risk (SICR), PD, LGD, EAD, Stress Testing, IRRBB, ICAAP, and Basel III/IV frameworks.
• Experience in Credit Risk Model Development & Validation, portfolio risk assessment, and scenario analysis.
• Proficiency in SQL, SAS, Python or R, Power BI, and Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Experience working with GCC banks and regional regulators is highly preferred.
• FRM, CFA, or a relevant professional certification is an advantage.
• Immediate to 30-day notice period preferred.
