Urban Hive UAE is looking to hire a skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join its growing team in Dubai. This opportunity is well suited for finance professionals with a solid background in logistics and import & export operations who are passionate about maintaining accurate financial records and supporting business growth.

The successful candidate will oversee key accounting functions, prepare financial reports, ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations, and manage inventory-related accounting activities. The role requires strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel to support efficient financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate accounting records and oversee daily financial transactions.

• Prepare financial statements, reports, and supporting documentation.

• Manage VAT compliance, reconciliations, and financial reporting activities.

• Monitor inventory accounting and ensure accurate stock-related financial records.

• Handle accounting processes related to logistics, import, and export operations.

• Reconcile bank accounts, customer accounts, and supplier accounts.

• Utilize ERP systems to manage accounting functions efficiently.

• Support management with financial analysis and business reporting.

Requirements:

• 6–7 years of professional accounting experience.

• Strong background in logistics and import & export operations.

• Excellent knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, VAT compliance, reconciliations, and inventory accounting.

• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
