Cornish Arabian Aluminium Factory LLC is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join its expanding team in Dubai. This role is ideal for finance professionals who have a strong accounting background and experience within the construction or aluminium manufacturing sector. The successful candidate will play a vital role in managing financial operations while ensuring compliance with UAE financial regulations and reporting standards.
The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting activities, preparing financial reports, managing tax compliance, and supporting business decisions through accurate financial analysis. Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and management accounts.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing processes accurately and on schedule.
• Reconcile bank accounts and balance sheet accounts.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations, IFRS, and financial reporting requirements.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns within the required deadlines.
• Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial forecasts.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audit engagements.
• Process payroll and ensure timely salary disbursements.
• Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
• Provide financial analysis and support management in strategic decision-making.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and UAE financial regulations.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of accounting experience, preferably within the construction or aluminium industry.
• Strong understanding of UAE VAT regulations, IFRS, and accounting principles.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, ERP, SAP, Odoo, or similar systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Strong knowledge of:
• UAE VAT regulations and IFRS compliance
• Financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management
• Accounting software, payroll processing, and Microsoft Excel
