Description:
A company based in Jebel Ali Freezone South, Dubai is urgently seeking an Accounts Payable Accountant to join its finance team. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with practical experience in accounts payable and core accounting functions who are looking to grow their career in a professional work environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting daily accounting operations, maintaining financial accuracy, and assisting with reporting and reconciliation activities. Preference will be given to applicants with UAE accounting experience, while prior experience in the manufacturing industry will be considered an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage accounts payable transactions and ensure timely processing of invoices.
• Maintain general ledger records and perform regular account reconciliations.
• Assist with financial reporting and month-end closing activities.
• Ensure accounting records are accurate and comply with accounting principles.
• Support the finance team with routine accounting and reporting tasks.
Requirements:
• Female candidates only (Maximum age: 35 years).
• Bachelor’s Degree or relevant qualification in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience in Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), Reconciliations, Financial Reporting, and Month-End Closing.
• UAE accounting experience is preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing company will be an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Accounting principles.
• Accounts Payable (AP) processes.
• General Ledger, reconciliations, financial reporting, and month-end closing.
