We are looking to expand our Brand Partnerships team by hiring Sales Associates who will manage a portfolio of both active and inactive brand partners. Sales Associates act as the primary point of contact for assigned brands, overseeing all aspects of advertising relationships while providing feedback to our Product Management team to improve the self-service platform experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain relationships with emerging brands actively advertising on Instacart
• Prospect and onboard new advertisers, assisting with campaign creation, launch, and renewal
• Maintain high weekly activity including client meetings, emails, and engagement metrics
• Meet and exceed KPIs including activations, retained advertisers, and revenue goals
• Serve as primary escalation point for technical issues
• Generate weekly campaign reports and monthly/quarterly reviews
• Support the launch of new programs, features, and product initiatives
• Collaborate with product teams to prioritize improvements for small to medium-sized business ad products
Requirements / About You:
• 1-4 years of sales experience in a professional environment
• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
• Creative problem-solving and data analysis skills
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Excel, Google Drive, and other sales tools
• Comfortable interpreting insights and presenting recommendations
• Ability to work independently in a flexible, remote-first environment
Compensation & Benefits:
Instacart provides competitive compensation and benefits tailored to each work location. Base pay depends on the candidate’s permanent location:
• CA, NY, CT, NJ: $69,000—$73,000 USD
• WA: $67,000—$70,500 USD
• OR, DE, ME, MA, MD, NH, RI, VT, DC, PA, VA, CO, TX, IL, HI: $64,000—$67,500 USD
• All other states: $58,000—$61,000 USD
This role is eligible for equity grants and annual refresh grants. Employees enjoy flexible work arrangements under Instacart’s Flex First policy.
