Description:

NCD is seeking a detail-oriented Revenue Operations Associate to join its Operations team. This role focuses on maintaining billing accuracy, managing payment file processes, analyzing partner data, and resolving exceptions across NCD’s member and carrier ecosystem.

The successful candidate will act as a key connection between enrollment platforms, payment systems, and carrier partners to ensure smooth billing operations. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys process ownership, working with data, improving workflows, and delivering accurate results in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process monthly payment files for all carriers and support payment file implementation for new and existing partners.

• Maintain accuracy and continuity between enrollment platforms and payment gateway systems.

• Monitor daily payment declines and prepare weekly trend reports by agency, product, and carrier.

• Identify, investigate, and resolve revenue-related exceptions from start to completion.

• Manage billing holds, escalations, and billing-related support tickets while maintaining timely resolutions.

• Track billing data trends and provide insights to prevent recurring operational issues.

• Collaborate with Member Care, Operations teams, and carrier partners to communicate billing updates and resolve issues.

• Maintain accurate documentation and support additional operational responsibilities as required.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in billing operations, payment processing, insurance administration, or related back-office operations.

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage recurring processes accurately.

• Experience working with enrollment, billing, or operational platforms and the ability to learn new systems quickly.

• Strong written communication skills for case management, reporting, and internal updates.

• Ability to manage multiple workstreams while maintaining accuracy and deadlines.

• Proactive problem-solving approach with the ability to identify issues and recommend solutions.

• Strong knowledge of:

• Data Reporting & Exception Management

• Insurance Administration Workflows

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with E123, NMI, or similar enrollment and payment gateway platforms.

• Knowledge of ACH processing, payment files, or carrier billing workflows.

• Experience in dental, vision, health, or insurance administration.

• Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude for operational support and documentation.
