QS Engineer

Qualification:

• Fresh in UAE or candidates with UAE experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD 2D
• Waterproofing experience is an advantage

Job Description:

• Prepare LPOs for project procurement and materials
• Take accurate measurements for all ongoing projects
• Verify and double-check measurements for correctness
• Coordinate with site QS for joint measurement verification
• Submit measurements to office management for invoicing
• Review client drawings, including structural, architectural layouts, and details
• Prepare detailed shop drawings
• Conduct site visits to check progress with foremen or supervisors
• Collect delivery notes to calculate monthly materials delivered
• Calculate material wastage reports
• Obtain client approvals for site measurements
• Calculate complex lump sum quantities accurately
