Hey Folks – We’re Hiring: QHSE Officer
Green Concrete LLC is seeking a proactive QHSE Officer to lead and maintain quality, health, safety, and environmental standards across our Jebel Ali operations. The role focuses on building a strong safety culture, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting operational teams to deliver work safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain HSE/QHSE policies, standard operating procedures and safety guidelines tailored to site operations.
- Carry out site inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Lead incident investigations and root-cause analysis, producing clear reports and follow-up actions.
- Design and deliver safety training sessions and toolbox talks to upskill site teams.
- Promote a positive safety culture by encouraging reporting, safe behaviors and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with UAE HSE regulations and industry standards, coordinating with authorities when required.
- Prepare and maintain documentation including checklists, audit records and HSE performance reports.
- Support environmental initiatives such as waste management, spill response and emissions control.
- Work closely with operations to ensure safe methods, PPE use and adherence to safety plans on site.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science or related field.
- Relevant HSE certifications (NEBOSH/OSHA) are highly desirable.
- Proven experience as an HSE/QHSE Officer, preferably within ready-mix, construction or manufacturing environments.
- In-depth knowledge of UAE HSE legislation and best practices.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- A proactive, solutions-oriented approach with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a QHSE team.
