Description:
Datum Co is urgently seeking a qualified and detail-focused QA/QC Engineer to support its construction projects in Abu Dhabi, specifically within building and villa developments. This role is critical in maintaining high-quality standards across all project phases by overseeing inspections, documentation, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in QA/QC processes within the construction sector and possess a strong understanding of UAE quality standards and site procedures. Immediate joiners are highly preferred for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Quality Documentation:
• Prepare and manage key quality documents such as Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), Material Inspection Requests (MIR), Work Inspection Requests (WIR), Requests for Information (RFI), and Non-Conformance Reports (NCR)
• Ensure all documentation is accurate, up to date, and aligned with project requirements
• Site Inspections:
• Conduct regular inspections of materials and site activities to ensure compliance with specifications
• Coordinate with consultants and stakeholders for approvals and quality verification
• Compliance & Monitoring:
• Monitor ongoing site activities to ensure adherence to approved quality plans and procedures
• Identify quality issues and support corrective and preventive actions
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, standards, and project guidelines
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
• 3–5 years of experience in QA/QC roles within construction, particularly for building and villa projects
• Prior experience in the UAE construction sector is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of local construction standards, quality systems, and compliance requirements
• Excellent technical reporting and documentation skills
• Ability to manage multiple site activities and maintain high attention to detail
• Immediate availability will be considered an advantage
